We built a playroom in a family basement in Jabriya which was designed by Rahad Kids in Riyadh, Rahad kids appointed us as the contractor for this project. A cool space-planning idea they developed was to split the large room into 2 sides, a gym and a play area, so that the adults can workout while the kids played. We sourced the padded flooring, kids pretend stations, stuffed toys, legos, foam cubes, spiral slide, mini fridge, and TV, and we custom-built a pilates ball shelf, dumbell hangers, cabin in the woods on stilts, spongebob building, double-curved walls with epoxy paint, kids sofa, stage, garage toolkit pegboard, umbrella canopies, floating steps, and ball pit wall.
A cool challenge Rahad kids gave us was the curved glass wall that separated the gym and playroom, it was curved glass with a curved drooping olive green cutout to complete the aesthetic. the colours we used were pastel orange, orange chamois, calm yellow, powder blue, white, olive green, pastel mint green, and medium grey. 160sqm
