we designed & supervised a bathroom which when you walk into takes you to the speakeasy’s in Chicago in the 90s, a very underground scene, ceramic tile walls to 2m height with carved wood mouldings like balustrades, floral wallpaper above, mosaic flooring, yellow incandescent mini-chandeliers. Nostalgic for any one who has been to those places, unique and other-worldly for anyone who hasnt, especially since the rest of the house has a light beige Japandi theme.
صممنا وأشرفنا على حمام ينقلك بمجرد دخولك إليه إلى أجواء حانات شيكاغو السرية في التسعينيات، حيث المشهد السري للغاية. جدران من بلاط السيراميك بارتفاع مترين مع زخارف خشبية منحوتة تشبه الدرابزين، وورق جدران مزخرف بالزهور، وأرضية فسيفسائية، وثريات صغيرة صفراء متوهجة. يثير هذا الحمام الحنين لدى كل من زار تلك الأماكن، ويمنح شعورًا فريدًا وغريبًا لمن لم يزرها، خاصةً وأن باقي المنزل يتميز بطابع ياباني تقليدي بلون بيج فاتح.
